Kultura na Dlanu is an online cultural portal dedicated to covering and promoting a wide spectrum of cultural topics, including art, literature, music, film, and heritage. The platform was envisioned as a modern digital space where users of all ages—especially those with a passion for culture—can stay up to date with relevant news, interviews, reviews, and event announcements. Its mission is to make culture more accessible and appealing to the general public, particularly within Serbia and the broader regional context.

Challenges

One of the key challenges was to create a platform that could balance a strong visual presentation with efficient content management. Since the website needed to host a continuous stream of articles and multimedia content, it was important to design a structure that allowed for easy navigation, quick updates, and high readability. Another requirement was to ensure full responsiveness across all devices, as a significant portion of users would be accessing the site from smartphones or tablets. Additionally, the client needed a system that non-technical staff could update regularly without the need for development assistance.

The project was built using WordPress as the content management system, chosen for its flexibility and ease of use. To streamline the design process and enable full visual control, Elementor was implemented as the primary page builder. This combination allowed for fast deployment, custom layout design, and intuitive content editing.
