Totally Wellness
Totally Wellness is a health and wellness platform founded by a certified health coach and holistic nutritionist who overcame cancer and dedicated her life to promoting healthy living. The website, custom-built on WordPress with extensive custom functionalities, was developed following a client-approved design created in Figma. Our team took over the project from a previous agency that was unable to meet the client’s requirements. The platform features eCommerce for supplements, educational programs, detailed blog content, and multilingual support to reach a broad audience.
After the successful launch, a comprehensive SEO analysis was conducted on the work of the previous agency, followed by an extensive SEO campaign to significantly improve the site’s search engine visibility and performance.
Challenges
The main challenges included taking over an incomplete project and delivering a fully custom WordPress site tailored to the founder’s complex offerings. This included seamless integration of eCommerce, multilingual content, marketing and analytics tools, and maintaining high standards of security and performance. Providing an intuitive user experience for purchasing supplements and accessing wellness programs was also crucial, along with enabling the client to easily manage ongoing content updates.
Technologies
Built on a custom WordPress framework with many tailored features, the site uses WooCommerce for efficient management of product sales. The design was created in Figma and approved by the client before development, ensuring a cohesive and brand-aligned experience.
Multilingual support is handled via WPML, expanding accessibility for international users. Security is reinforced with modern protocols, and site performance is optimized through the use of LiteSpeed servers and Cloudflare CDN.
The frontend employs Bootstrap for responsive design and various JavaScript libraries to ensure smooth, dynamic interactions. Marketing and analytics integrations include Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager, Sleeknote, and Drip automation, enabling detailed user tracking and marketing automation.
Following the site launch, a thorough SEO audit was performed and a significant SEO package was implemented to boost organic traffic and overall site performance.
