The Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church
The website for the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church was developed as a modern digital extension of one of the most important religious and cultural institutions in Serbia. With a mission to preserve and present the Church’s rich movable heritage, the platform was designed to offer both informative depth and visual elegance. Approved Figma designs were translated into a fully responsive website using Elementor, with special attention given to aesthetics that reflect the spiritual and historical depth of the Museum’s collection. A key feature of the project is the integration of immersive 3D video presentations, allowing users to interactively explore selected artifacts and deepen their connection with the exhibits.
Challenges
Transforming a centuries-old institution into a digital experience required a careful balance between tradition and technology. The primary challenge was presenting a vast and diverse collection of artifacts in a way that felt both accessible to the general public and respectful of their religious and historical significance. It was also important to develop a platform flexible enough to evolve with future exhibitions, special programs, and educational content.
Technologies
The website was developed using WordPress and Elementor to allow for easy content management while maintaining full visual fidelity to the original Figma designs. Great care was taken to ensure optimal performance and mobile responsiveness, while the structure was thoughtfully planned to support future scalability. Special attention was given to accessibility and multilingual potential, considering the Museum’s international audience.

The final result is a modern, informative, and engaging platform that positions the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church as a digital custodian of tradition. Through immersive storytelling and intuitive navigation, the site now offers a space where history, culture, and technology meet—extending the reach of the Museum far beyond its physical walls and creating a meaningful experience for every visitor.
